A straightforward, no-bullshit guide to help you be more confident in the tools you are using.
This book covers the fundamentals — information on coils, springs, capacitors, stroke, speed and hit, through to basic tuning, changing springs, diagnosing issues, troubleshooting, cleaning and maintenance.
This book is NOT a machine building guide/manual and isn’t going to teach you how to build a tattoo machine. If you think it will, you’ll be disappointed. This is just full of information every coil user should know. Knowledge that mentors should pass down, but most haven’t be taught themselves.
Every machine builder is different and may have different views to me. This isn’t gospel, its my theories/methods/principles i have gained in over 15 years of building machines.
