SUMI TO GET SUMI INK ON THE SUZURI

Although in some chinese or japanese painting we can find up to 6 or more tones, there are 3 basic tones:

NOBOKU: creamy density. The ink should present a dark and deep tone.

CHUBOKU: It is a medium grey. We should mix the ink got it on the suzuri with water.

TAMBOKU: We can get it mixing the CHUBOKU with more water.
